1. General

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all competitions (“Competitions”) run by Verity Digital Agency (“the Agency”) on its official Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/VerityDigitalAgency By entering any of our Competitions, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility

  • Entrants must be 18 years or older and reside in South Africa.

  • Employees of Verity Digital and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

  • Competitions are not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook in any way.

3. Entry Requirements

  • Entry criteria will be clearly described in each competition post.

  • No purchase is necessary to enter.

  • Only one entry per person will be accepted unless stated otherwise.

4. Prizes and Giveaway Format

  • All prizes are digital in nature and no physical items will be printed or shipped, including but not limited to business cards, posters, flyers, or brochures.

  • Prize specifications will be outlined in the competition announcement.

  • Prizes are not exchangeable for cash and are non-transferable.

  • Verity Digital reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equal or greater value if necessary.

5. Winner Selection

  • Winners will be selected randomly from all eligible entries using a fair and unbiased digital method.

  • The winner(s) will be notified via Facebook inbox or comment within 5 business days after the competition closes.

  • If a winner does not respond within 5 business days, they forfeit the prize, and another winner will be selected.

6. Rights Reserved by Verity Digital

  • The Agency reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition if required due to unforeseen circumstances.

  • Entries that violate Facebook’s community standards or are deemed inappropriate/offensive will be disqualified.

  • The Agency may disqualify entries suspected of fraudulent behavior or automated/bot entries.

7. Use of Personal Information & POPIA Compliance

  • By entering the competition, you consent to Verity Digital collecting and using your personal information (name, contact details, etc.) solely for the purpose of administering the competition and announcing winners.

  • All personal data is handled in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

  • Your information will not be shared with third parties unless required by law or with your explicit consent.

  • You may request access to, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting info@veritydigital.co.za.

8. Publicity

  • By entering, you agree that Verity Digital may tag and mention the winner(s) on social media and/or publish the winner’s name and entry (e.g., design or caption) for marketing purposes.

  • No additional compensation will be provided for such use.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Verity Digital shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the competition or acceptance/use of any prize.

  • Entrants acknowledge that Facebook is not responsible for any aspects of this competition.
